Neymar picks up nasty ankle injury ahead of Man Utd clash

Neymar picks up nasty ankle injury ahead of Man Utd clash

Neymar was forced off with a nasty-looking ankle injury, as Paris Saint-Germain defeated Strasbourg 2-0 in the last 32 of the Coupe de France on Wednesday night.
Thomas Tuchel will be sweating over Neymar’s injury ahead of the side’s Champions League clash with
Manchester United.
The Brazilian forward went down in a heap in the second half and tried to play through the pain after some initial treatment on the touchline at the Parc des Princes.
However, Moussa Diaby came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute and Neymar was in tears, as he made his way down the tunnel.
Neymar, who suffered foot problems before and during the World Cup last summer, appeared to roll his ankle while dribbling past Strasbourg midfielder Moataz Zemzemi.
Asked about the injury after the final whistle, Tuchel replied: “No news for Neymar but he’s worried.
“It’s the same foot [that he injured before the World Cup].”
PSG travel to Old Trafford on February 12.
The return leg of the Champions League last-16 tie takes place on March 3.
