CUSTOMS COMPTROLLER-GENERAL IN PRIVATE MEETING WITH SARAKI

  Comptroller General of Customs, Hameed Ali is presently in a private meeting with Senate President Bukola Saraki at the
National Assembly complex, TheCable reports.


 According to the news platform, Ali arrived the complex just before 6pm. The meeting is coming after the Senate summoned Ali over plans to seize vehicles without paid duty. 


He had written the Senate stating that he would not be able to honour the invitation due to an official assignment. The Senate however rejected his excuse, stating that he must appear before it on Wednesday in his uniform.
